Military modernization is the need of the hour with the changing mode of warfare for any country. India has been trying to project itself as the next regional power. The military modernization of India under Prime Minister Narendra Modi regime reflects Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh RSS aspirations and agenda that have been hampering Pakistan’s security through overt and covert means. A case study research design has been adopted to analyze the various facets of India’s military modernization under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s regime. Interviews have been conducted with security analysts and researchers from both sides of the border to understand the advancements in the Indian military from 2014-2022 and how this has been a source of disruption for Pakistan’s security.
